World Bank - Spain partnership on edtech topics

The World Bank has received strategic cooperation support from the Kingdom of Spain to explore issues related to the use of information and communications technologies (ICT) in education. or 'edtech'.

Specifically, the Basque Government is supporting the secondment of a person to serve on the edtech team within the World Bank's education global practice. In addition, the Spanish Fund for Latin America and the Caribbean (SFLAC) is supporting an innovative pilot project exploring the use of 'Blockchain Technology for Youth Engagement and Value Exchange', one of the winning proposals in the World Bank's Disruptive Technology for Development (DT4D) Challenge.
