The World Bank's Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Sector Unit has been in discussions with the State of Israel to explore how Israel’s experiences and good practices in ICT Industry and Innovation could be shared with our client countries. Recognizing that Israel’s strengths lie in the areas of ICT and Agriculture, ICT and Water and Cyber Security, a partnership was reached around these three areas, bringing information about latest innovations to World Bank clients.
As a first initiatve, a joint Agriculture and ICT Capacity Building Workshop and Study Tour will invite twenty officials from ten Bank client countries to Israel. The program is composed of field visits, discussions with policymakers and research organizations, and a 1-day participation in the 2015 Agritech Conference with its Agriton hackathon.
A group of twenty officials from ten countries have been nominated by World Bank project leaders and selected by the World Bank in coordination with the donor to participate in this capacity building workshop.
If you have received an emailed invitation by the World Bank to join this training, please submit your detailed information for the upcoming Capacity Building Workshop and Study Tour below by April 6th, 2015.
