As part of the Women Entrepreneurs Finance Initiative (We-Fi), the Entrepreneurship Database project collects data on female entrepreneurial activity, from 2014 to 2022, focusing on the following three variables: business owners, business directors and sole proprietors.
Entrepreneurship Database
Business Owners refer to the individuals who own at least one share of new limited liability companies registered in the calendar year.
The table shows the difference between the number of female and male owners of new limited liability companies per calendar year.
