Our Team

The core team of the CRWJ serves as the focal point for collaborations and engagements, knowledge curation and dissemination, website management, and coordination of the CRWJ Affiliate network.

  • Kathleen Beegle
    CRWJ Co-lead, Development Research Group

    Kathleen is a Lead Economist at the World Bank's Development Research Group. Her research experience includes the study of jobs (including co-leading the 2013 World Bank World Development Report on Jobs, barriers to women’s work, and pay gaps between men and women. Prior to returning to the Research Group, she was a Lead in the World Bank’s Gender Group. She is an IZA Research Fellow and on the IZA G2LMLIC Advisory Board.

    CRWJ Co-lead, Development Research Group

    S Anukriti is a Senior Economist at the World Bank's Development Research Group and a Research Fellow at the Institute for Labor Economics (IZA). She is an applied microeconomist, with interests in the fields of development economics, economics of gender and the family, and political economy.  Her research examines the underlying causes of gender inequalities and explores mechanisms that can bring about gender equity. She currently serves as a Board member for two research initiatives of the BRAC Institute of Governance and Development focused on women’s economic empowerment -- WEE-DiFine and WEE-Connect

    CRWJ Communications and Knowledge Management

    Lucía is a Communications and Knowledge Management Consultant at the World Bank. She has extensive experience supporting international development initiatives and projects focused on narrowing socioeconomic gaps between women and men, social inclusion, and evidence-based policymaking.
