What do I do if I have not received or need to replace my medical plan membership ID cards?

For HQ staff

1.    Access myHR Self-Service (only available if connected to the Bank's Intranet).

2.    Use this menu path to confirm your Medical Insurance Plan (MIP) enrollment: Insurance >> Medical, Life & AD/D Insurance (only available if connected to the Bank's Intranet).

3.    Use this menu path to confirm your home address: Personal & Family >> Contacts Information. If your address has changed, please update your new address in myHR Self-Service (only available if connected to the Bank's Intranet). Your new address will be sent to Aetna the following Wednesday by the Bank Group.

4.    Contact the MIP administrator directly to request a new set of ID cards.

o    For MIP for staff working in HQ, the MIP administrator is Aetna. If you have not received your Aetna card, please visit www.aetna.com to register with Aetna Navigator. Once registered, you will be able to print a temporary Aetna ID card.

o    For HQ staff on extended field assignments, your MIP administrator may be Aetna or Cigna.

5.    Obtain a separate ID card for your MIP Prescription Drug Insurance. We have a separate prescription drug administrator for MIP, called CVS/caremark, and if you are purchasing prescription drugs in the U.S., through the MIP Prescription drug network, you will need to show your CVS/caremark ID card at a participating pharmacy to maximize your benefits. CVS/caremark also provides MIP members with a mail order option. Contact CVS/caremark at 1-844-641-0412 or go online to www.caremark.com (you will need to register to log on to this website).

If you have not received your CVS/caremark cards, you can print your own temporary cards by following the instructions at this link.

For Country Office staff

1.    Access myHR Self-Service (only available if connected to the Bank's Intranet).

2.    Use this menu path to confirm your Medical Benefits Plan (MBP) enrollment: Insurance >> Medical, Life & AD/D Insurance (only available if connected to the Bank's Intranet). The MBP is administered by Cigna.

3.    You, your country office (CO) MBP administrator, or his/her back up may contact Cigna at wbg.mbp@cigna.com to request new/replacement ID cards.

IMPORTANT: Please note that the medical insurance cards are first sent to the Bank HQ in Washington, D.C. by courier and then processed to be sent out on the next available pouch to the staff member’s CO MSN#. The tracking information that could be provided after requesting it from Cigna provides information about the insurance card reaching HQ for the Bank in Washington, D.C.
