Emilia Skrok is the Global Manager of the Fiscal Policy and Sustainable Growth Unit in the Macroeconomics, Trade & Investment Global Practice. Since joining the World Bank in 2004, she’s held several positions including Program Leader for the Global Practice.
Prior to that, she worked as a lead economist in the Treasury Department of Bank PEKAO S.A., the largest private bank in Poland, and as an Assistant Professor at Warsaw School of Economics, Department of International Comparison Studies. Previously, she was a Senior Economist in the Department of Financial Policy, Analysis and Statistics, in Poland’s Ministry of Finance.
Ms. Skrok has a Major in International Finance from Lodz University and has always been a modern art enthusiast.
