A new memoir of one of the founders of the ICP, Alan Heston, has been recently released. Alan Heston is an economist and professor emeritus in the Department of Economics at the University of Pennsylvania; he is well known for his collaborative work with fellow economists Robert Summers and Irving Kravis in the development of the Penn World Table (PWT). Alan’s new memoir maps the remarkable journey of the ICP since the initial phase and early meetings through the current stage of the program. Alan masterfully illustrates the magnitude and importance of this intellectual undertaking.

The first draft of Alan’s memoirs and accompanying photos can be found here.
