WASHINGTON, February 11, 2016 - The World Bank’s Board of Executive Directors today approved the following project:
West Bank and Gaza - Palestinian National Development Plan - Development Policy Grant
Grant: US $ 40 million

Project Description: This operation will support the Palestinian Authority’s (PA) efforts in augmenting tax revenues and streamlining public spending in order to reduce the fiscal deficit amid declining donor aid. It will also support the PA’s efforts to reform and further strengthen public finance management, as well as to facilitate land registration.
