PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The China Guiyang Transport Project aims to assist the Guiyang Municipality to increase the access and mobility of Guiyang Municipality's transport users through infrastructure investments while establishing more sustainable mechanisms for rural road maintenance, and enhancing local capacity for keeping municipal debt under control. The project includes the following components: developing Youxiao Road; strengthening rural transport by increasing the number of villages which have roads leading into the main area highway; and institutional development.
