PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The objective of the project is to improve utilization of selected community-based health and nutrition services for children under the age of two and pregnant women in selected districts. The specific objectives are: (i) to develop effective inter-sectoral coordination, ownership, and accountability for nutrition towards the establishment of a coherent national program; and (ii) to strengthen the Ministry of Health and Ghana Health Service to effectively coordinate implementation of the community based health and nutrition program supported by the project.
