We invite you to share with us photographs of people, places and actions which have inspired you and given you hope for a better future for Nepal.
Enter your creative photo, with a short statement describing the photo, for a chance to show your photo to the world.

WHAT
The #LookAroundYou Photo Contest is organized by World Bank Nepal. Submit up to 3 photos from Nepal for a chance to win a DSLR camera. The photo must be original – i.e. you must be the photographer.
WHEN
You can submit photos until 5 PM Nepal time on 29 March, 2015.
WHO
Anyone aged 18 and above. You may come from, or live, anywhere in the world as long as your photo is from Nepal.
Individuals employed by World Bank Nepal, and their immediate families (children, siblings and spouses) are not eligible to participate in the photo contest.
HOW
Email your submissions to infonepal@worldbank.org.
You can also send a digital copy of your photo on a CD/DVD to PO Box 798, Kathmandu, Nepal, or share your photo through Flickr or other image hosting websites.
Your photos should meet the following requirements – At least 9*12” and at least 300 dpi. Format - .jpg or other image file format.
Your photograph should be accompanied by a short statement (150 – 200 words) describing the photo and why it inspires you to end poverty. Photo descriptions may be in English or Nepali. Add your name, address, age, phone number and email address, if you have one.
SHARE
We encourage you to share your images with your social networks. Promote the contest and your photos by tagging them with #LookAroundYou.
WIN
The winner will be selected by the World Bank from all the eligible entries. The winner will win a brand new DSLR camera.
Decisions made by World Bank Nepal will be final.
COPYRIGHT
By entering, you retain copyright and remain the owner of your images and may also continue to use them in any manner you choose. You agree that the images you submit may be used in printed publications, on World Bank Nepal websites, may be uploaded on World Bank Nepal’s social media channels, or in any other media, and may be copied and displayed in any country provided that you are afforded appropriate attribution as the photographer.
