Policies to Create Jobs and Community: Learning from the Evidence on Forced Displacement

Can jobs policies be transformative to forcibly displaced and host populations alike and foster social cohesion? Join experts from international organizations, government, and civil society to discuss how recently concluded research on these flashpoints can improve policymaking. The event will also examine the lessons learned from utilizing research in forced displacement operations, as presented by Building the Evidence on Forced Displacement, a research partnership between the UK, the World Bank, and UNHCR that has expanded the tools and evidence for policymaking on forced displacement.
