The International Trade and Logistics Workshop is organized by the World Bank Group Global Knowledge and Research Hub in Malaysia in collaboration with the National Logistics Taskforce of the Malaysian Ministry of Transport.  The workshop aims to explain the methodology of the World Bank Logistics Performance Index and the Doing Business Trading across Borders Indicator, and provide information on the performance of Malaysia in customs and trade logistics areas.  The workshop also includes a field visit to Port Klang on the second day.  The objective of the field visit is to share with the World Bank experts on the recent developments at the Customs, Port Authorities and the Malaysian Ministry of Transport, and to provide information on the development of the National Single Window.
