Ms. Moorty, an Indian national, is currently a Regional Director for Europe and Central Asia in the Equitable Growth, Finance and Institutions VPU. She joined the Bank in 2000 in Africa Technical Families (AFTMl) in the Macroeconomics Department. She has since held various positions, her most recent assignment being a Practice Director in the Macro, Trade and Investment Global Practice.
