00:07 we will show you the steps you need to follow to
00:09 submit your proposal for a project with the World Bank Group.
00:13 Let's start with a brief explanation about the responding
00:15 to a request for proposal and what that means.
00:18 A request for proposal or RFP is issued once
00:21 the World Bank Group has identified a specific need.
00:24 And is seeking detailed proposals on how the requirements can be accomplished.
00:29 The RFP is an opportunity for suppliers to propose their solutions
00:33 and potentially secure a contract.
00:35 It requires suppliers to present a comprehensive plan and compete on quality,
00:40 cost,
00:41 solutions,
00:41 and various other factors.
00:43 Now that we've covered the basics,
00:45 let's get started on how to do it in the portal.
00:48 Step one,
00:49 Open the WBG sourcing portal and log in with your credentials.
00:54 You will need to complete a two-way factor
00:55 authentication process to sign into the portal.
00:59 Step 2,
01:00 once logged in,
01:01 you will arrive at the homepage.
01:03 Click on the menu symbol located at the top left corner of the screen,
01:07 then select RFX and click on selection list.
01:10 A new window will open displaying the selection list.
01:13 From there,
01:14 Select the project you wish to respond to.
01:16 Step 3 attestation.
01:19 Before you can proceed,
01:20 you need to read and accept the nondisclosure
01:22 agreement or NDA that applies to the project.
01:25 The NDA is a legal document that protects the
01:28 confidentiality of the information shared by the World Bank
01:31 and the suppliers.
01:33 To read the NDA,
01:34 click on the link and download it.
01:36 After reading and understanding the NDA,
01:38 Check the box to accept it and click on accept and submit to proceed.
01:42 Please note that this is a mandatory step for all procurements.
01:46 Step 4,
01:47 click and open the general detail page to review the selection description,
01:52 including details about the requirements and most importantly,
01:55 review the instructions to vendor information for more
01:58 insight on what is required from you.
02:00 Step 5 annexes this tab contains any document attached.
02:03 Attachments for this selection.
02:05 For example,
02:05 terms and conditions,
02:07 terms of reference,
02:08 NDA,
02:09 etc.
02:10 You can download each document and review them
02:12 carefully before preparing and submitting your proposal.
02:15 Step 6,
02:16 RFX elements.
02:18 This tab contains all the documents you will need
02:20 to respond to as part of the sourcing process.
02:23 These include the financial proposal,
02:26 certificate of eligibility,
02:28 and the technical requirements document.
02:30 Depending on the complexity of the sourcing,
02:33 you may be required to complete other documents as part of your response.
02:37 You can always revisit the instructions to vendor information to
02:41 ensure you complete all requirements as part of your response.
02:44 To access each section,
02:46 click on the three dots next to the item
02:49 and then select the Enter Answers option.
02:51 In the certificate of eligibility section,
02:53 you will need to answer some questions and
02:55 attach relevant documents to prove your eligibility.
02:58 Ability for the project.
02:59 After answering the questions and attaching relevant documents,
03:03 click on save to save your response and click
03:05 on the issue submit button to submit your responses.
03:08 Click OK to confirm.
03:10 After submitting your response,
03:12 click on the back to overview button to return to the RFX elements page.
03:16 Access each section and enter your response.
03:19 In the financial proposal section,
03:21 you will need to provide your financial offer for the project.
03:25 You will Also need to answer some questions and
03:27 attach relevant documents related to your financial proposal.
03:31 After answering the questions and attaching relevant documents,
03:34 click on save to save your response and click
03:36 on issue slash submit button to submit your responses.
03:40 Click OK to confirm your submission.
03:42 After submitting your response,
03:44 click on the back to overview button to return to the RFX elements page.
03:49 You may use the communication tab to interact with the project team.
03:53 there you will find an option to send emails to the Word Bank Group,
03:57 enabling effective communication between stakeholders.
04:00 The task list tab displays a comprehensive list of available tasks,
04:04 including task details,
04:06 assigned roles,
04:07 priority levels,
04:08 and status updates.
04:09 The selection forum tab serves as a platform for you
04:12 to ask questions and seek clarifications from the World Bank.
04:16 It is where you can view responses and clarifications provided by them.
04:20 This tab consolidates all the questions and answers for easy reference.
04:24 To ask a question,
04:26 type it in the text box and click on the green tick button on the side to save it.
04:30 Then click on the submit button to send it.
04:33 That's it.
04:34 You have successfully responded to a solicitation
04:37 using the WBG Procure e-sourcing portal.
