00:52 and these are World Bank client countries,

00:54 account for 2/3 of the world's cost effective mitigation potential in agrifood.

01:02 agrifood receives only about 2% of global mitigation financing.

01:07 So to help slash agrifood emissions

01:10 and put the sector on a path to net zero,

01:13 we estimate that financing needs to increase by 18 times

01:17 to $260 billion a year.

01:20 But the payoffs for this investment are much,

01:23 much higher,

01:24 with trillions of dollars in benefits

01:26 thanks to increased resilience,

01:28 revenues for small farmers,

01:30 improved healthcare for consumers,

01:32 carbon kept in the ground,

01:34 and ecosystem services.

01:36 Every country has a role to play in this.

01:39 The report proposes a menu of solutions for high,

01:42 middle,

01:42 and low income countries

01:44 ranging from accelerating renewable energy

01:47 and preventing methane from rice and livestock

01:50 to greening fertilizers and cutting food waste.

01:52 The solutions are within reach in our lifetimes,

01:55 but countries must begin to act now,

01:58 and they need our help to do that.
