Anna Bjerde, World Bank Vice President for Europe and Central Asia, visited Tajikistan March 6-7, 2023, where she toured projects financed by the International Development Association and held meetings with government counterparts, including President Emomali Rahmon. Ms. Bjerde also reconfirmed the World Bank’s commitment to continuing support Tajikistan as the country undertakes key reforms aimed at improving people’s lives and building a resilient and inclusive economy.
