Anna Bjerde, World Bank Vice President for Europe and Central Asia, visited Uzbekistan in October 2022. In this video, she talks about the results of three decades of partnership between the World Bank and Uzbekistan — specifically the $8.6 billion in funding we have provided across 67 projects and our support for the Government’s reform agenda since 2017. Ms. Bjerde also outlines our joint plans with the Uzbek authorities to continue working towards the country’s development goals through the new Country Partnership Framework FY2022-2026.
