Thanks to recent anti-corruption reform, public officials in Ukraine must now declare their wealth online. In 2016, over 100,000 officials revealed their wealth. E-declarations exposed a vast gap between the fortunes of politicians and of ordinary people. Over 70 criminal proceedings are ongoing, related to the illicit enrichment of public officials.
