Stephen is one of two young Ugandans who won the World Bank’s 2016 #Blog4Dev contest. Stephen is 25 years old and is working on building capacity among teachers in the rural district of Lwengo. Stephen’s recommendation for boosting opportunities for youth is to design a national campaign meant to bring out-of-school children back to the classrooms and give Uganda’s children a chance to influence their lives through quality education.
