Improving Children’s Education Outcomes in Francophone Africa

A ground-breaking regional learning assessment, the PASEC2014, depicts significant deficiencies in Francophone Africa’s primary school systems, despite expanded access over the past 15 years. While the quality of education remains elusive, this assessment provides governments with credible measures of education outcomes to help them diagnose and address problems in their education systems and allow children to reach their full potential.
