By Jim Yong Kim | MOGADISHU, Somalia - I traveled to this capital with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon -- the first visit to Somalia by a World Bank president since Robert McNamera came 42 years ago. In meetings with political leaders, and discussions with our staff, I came away feeling hopeful that if Somalia's political leaders find a way to secure peace, the World Bank Group, other development partners, and the private sector will invest significantly in the country.
