The World Bank confirms that Mr. Abraham Weintraub has been re-elected by the constituency representing Brazil, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Haiti, Panama, Philippines, Suriname, and Trinidad and Tobago to be an Executive Director on the Bank’s Board. Mr. Weintraub will serve a two-year term beginning on November 1, 2020.
Executive Directors are not World Bank staff. They are either appointed or elected by the representatives of our shareholders.
