The World Bank has received official communication from the Brazilian authorities that Mr. Abraham Weintraub has been nominated to be the Executive Director representing Brazil and its constituency at the Executive Board of Directors of the World Bank Group. The election period runs from September 16 to October 15, 2020. If re-elected by his constituency, he would serve a two-year term beginning on November 1, 2020.
