World Bank Issues Malaysian Ringgit-linked Fixed Rate Eurobonds

Washington, DC, June 25, 2010 – Today, The World Bank (International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, rated Aaa/AAA), launched a Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) linked 1.75% Eurobonds for its European and Japanese institutional investor base via TD Securities as the underwriter.

Settlement Date: July 6, 2010
Maturity Date: June 24, 2013
Issue Price: 100.6875%
Coupon: 1.75% annually
Denomination: MYR 10,000 and multiples thereof

* The principal amount of the bond was increased on July 12, 2010 by a second tranche for an amount of MYR 60 million with an issue price of 100.7375% (settlement date: July 19, 2010). On September 9, 2010, the principal amount of the bond was increased by a third tranche for an amount of MYR 40 million with an issue price of 101.185% (settlement date: September 17, 2010). On April 5, 2011, the principal amount of the bond was increased by a fourth tranche for an amount of MYR 35 million with an issue price of 100.1055% (settlement date: April 13, 2011). On April 21, 2011, the principal amount of the bond was increased by a fifth tranche for an amount of MYR 35 million with an issue price of 101.499% (settlement date: May 5, 2011). On June 1, 2011, the principal amount of the bond was increased by a sixth tranche for an amount of MYR 40 million with an issue price of 101.7875% (settlement date: June 8, 2011). On June 131, 2011, the principal amount of the bond was further increased by a seventh tranche for an amount of MYR 40 million with an issue price of 101.683% (settlement date: June 27, 2011). The new total outstanding principal amount of the bond is MYR 450 million.
