Project Objectives Description: The development objective of the DPF series aims at boosting economic transformation in Ethiopia by increasing private sector participation and promoting good governance practices, including moving towards a sustainable financing model for Ethiopia’s development. The supplemental financing will help the Government of Ethiopia close an unexpected financing gap due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and minimize the impact of the crisis on continued implementation of reforms supported under the Second Ethiopia Growth and Competitiveness Programmatic Development Policy Financing.
