Project Description: The objective of the project is to improve access to jobs and quality transit for public transport users in the area of influence of Bogota’s Metro Line 1, Section 1 (Primera Linea Metro de Bogotá, Tramo 1-PLMB). A proposed Series of Projects with two phases is envisioned. The objective of the proposed first project is to improve readiness and start the implementation of the PLMB over a five-year period. The second project would finance an estimated $530 million over the 2022-25 period, in support of the main construction phase.
