Project Description: The project objective is to contribute to the provision of basic health and essential nutrition services for the benefit of the population of the Republic of Yemen. The proposed additional financing was prepared in response to the worsening food insecurity and increasing malnutrition rates in the country, and is designed to scale up support for the prevention and treatment of acute malnutrition among children and women at all levels of care and to provide fortified nutritious supplements/food to the identified malnourished people.
