Brazil - Development of systems to prevent forest fires and monitor vegetation cover in the Brazilian Cerrado

Project Description: The objectives of this project are to enhance Brazil’s institutional capacity in monitoring deforestation, in providing information on fire risks, and in estimating related greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) in the Cerrado biome.
