India – World Bank Approves US$ 250 Million for Bihar Kosi Basin Development Project
IDA Credit: $250 million equivalent
Terms: Maturity = 25 years, Grace = 5 years
Single currency credit and variable interest rate (LIBOR+Fixed Spread)

Project Description: To address the long-term challenges of enhancing flood management capacity and agricultural production in the Kosi River Basin, building on the ongoing reconstruction work that started following the 2008 Kosi river floods.
