Project Description: The objective of the Metro Colombo Urban Development Project is to support the Government of Sri Lanka in reducing flooding in the catchment of the Colombo Water Basin. This will be achieved through strengthening the capacity of the local authorities in the Colombo Metropolitan Area so they can rehabilitate, improve and maintain local infrastructure.
