Project Description: The objective of the project is to assist the Government of Samoa (GOS) in its efforts to relocate and rehabilitate the communities living in the island of Upolu affected by the tsunami of September 29, 2009. This will be accomplished by improving infrastructure access to relocation sites, enhancing transport infrastructure and assisting the local communities to address future natural disasters.
