Project Description: The development objective of the project is to assist the Borrower in reducing poverty and promoting peace and development by fostering sustainable development in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao. More specific objectives are to; i) provide and/or improve sustained access to social and economic infrastructure and services by the poor and conflict-affected poor communities; ii) provide capacity building for women, youth and other community groups for improving food security, employment opportunities and household incomes, iii) strengthen social cohesion and partnerships between and within communities, and to iv) improve local governance and institutional capacities for implementation.
