Project Description: The Agro-Pastoral Productivity and Markets Development Project for Burundi aims to increase small producers’ productivity and market access for targeted commodities in the project area. To achieve this objective, the proposed project will: (i) support agricultural technology transfer in targeted value chains and rehabilitate irrigation infrastructure to increase productivity, and (ii) strengthen the capacities of producers and their partners to link to the market by improving post-harvest infrastructure, market intelligence, and feeder roads.
