Project Description: The Schistosomiasis Control Project aims to decrease the prevalence and intensity of infection of both urinary and intestinal schistosomiasis among school-age children by 2015 in endemic regions of Yemen. The first component of the project is preventive chemotherapy for schistosomiasis control. The second component of the project is independent monitoring, audit, and project administration. This component will support activities related to the independent monitoring of project targets and audit of project campaigns.
