Project Description: The Social Protection Investment Project in the Dominican Republic will help finance the costs associated with a scaling-up of existing project activities, specifically the institutional restructuring of the conditional cash transfers program (CCT) solidaridad. The additional funding will also finance the contracting of paralegal staff to assist poor Dominican households to obtain their national identity documents and the updating of the targeting instrument Sistema Unico de Beneficiarios (SIUBEN).
