Project Description: The overall global environment objective of the Chiller Energy Efficiency project in India is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions while simultaneously supporting the phase-out of consumption of Ozone Depleting Substances required under the Montreal Protocol. The project will accelerate the replacement of centrifugal chillers with efficient non-CFC-based centrihgal chillers in order to promote deployment of energy efficient technologies and products to reduce GHG emissions, and support the phase-out of CFC demand in India.
