PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The second in a program of three Poverty Reduction Support Operations, PRSO2 has focused on three broad policy areas consistent with the goals and strategies identified by Government in its National Growth and Poverty Eradication Strategy and reflected in IDA's Country Assistance Strategy: (1) public resource management; (2) public expenditure policy; and (3) more sustainable growth and enhanced revenue generation.
