Deepening Healthcare Reform in China

Over the past 30 years, China has lifted 600 million people out of poverty. Child and maternal mortality has gone down, out-of-pocket treatment costs have been cut to almost in half from 60% to 32% in the past ten years. But with slower growth and a rapidly aging population, urgent reforms are needed.
