The Growth and Jobs Report for the Philippines titled, “Running Uphill: Growth, Jobs, and the Quest for Productivity,” is the first of a new generation of World Bank Reports that places jobs at the center of growth analysis. The Philippines Growth and Jobs Report examines the drivers and barriers to growth and employment over the past 15 years and charts a reform agenda that—if fully implemented—could raise GDP growth toward 7 percent annually, boost real wages, and generate millions of quality jobs.
Tune in on July 15, 9:30 am, for the presentation of the report’s key findings and a discussion on how the Philippines can move into a path of higher economic growth and quality job creation.
