End Poverty Campaign Panel Discussion
November 8, 2016Sasana Kijang, Kuala Lumpur

The End Poverty Campaign Panel Discussion is jointly organized by the World Bank Group Global Knowledge and Research Hub in Malaysia and the United Nations Development Program in conjunction with the International Day for Eradication of Poverty 2016 and the End Poverty Campaign.

In October, the World Bank Group launched the Poverty and Shared Prosperity Report 2016 titled "Taking on Inequality". The theme for United Nations’ International Day for Eradication of Poverty 2016 is “Moving from Humiliation & Exclusion to Participation: Ending Poverty in all its Forms”.

Going by these two themes, the panel discussion seeks to build networks and linkages among international organizations, local practitioners, thought leaders and experts on poverty alleviation towards the common goal of eradicating poverty and ensuring shared prosperity.
