Fiscal Equalization Transfers at the Local Level – International Perspectives

The Ministry of Finance, together with the World Bank, is co-hosting an international workshop, December 11, 2014, in Warsaw. This workshop will focus on discussing solutions for equalization transfers for local governments and examples of good international practices.

The Ministry of Finance, together with the World Bank, is co-hosting an international workshop, December 11, 2014, in Warsaw. This workshop will focus on discussing solutions for equalization transfers for local governments and examples of good international practices. The knowledge collected in the course of the workshop will help guide the preparatory process of changes in Poland’s current fiscal equalization transfers model. The workshop will be held at the Ministry of Finance and with participation of the World Bank, international experts, and Polish local government representatives.
