    Mark Carney

    Governor of the Bank of England
    Governor of the Bank of England and Chairman of the Monetary Policy Committee, Financial Policy Committee and the Board of the Prudential Regulation Authority. His appointment as Governor was approved by Her Majesty the Queen on 26 November 2012. The Governor joined the Bank on 1 July 2013.

    Paul Druckman

    CEO of the International Integrated Reporting Council
    Paul is Chief Executive Officer of the IIRC. Paul is well known and respected in business and in the accounting profession worldwide. Following an entrepreneurial career in the software industry, Paul operated as a non‐executive chairman and director for companies in a variety of sectors until taking over this post. Formerly a Director of the UK Financial Reporting Council; member of the City Takeover Panel; and President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). Other interests have included chairing The Prince’s Accounting for Sustainability Project (A4S) Executive Board.

    Partner, KPMG LLP
    Mark Vaessen is a partner with KPMG LLP in the UK and global head of IFRS for KPMG International. Mark is also active in various professional activities including as chair of the Corporate Reporting Policy Group of the Federation of European Accountants (FEE); as supervisory board member of the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG) and as a member of the Consultative Working Group to ESMA’s Corporate Reporting Standing Committee. He is also a former member for KPMG on the IFRS Advisory Council.

    Russell Picot

    Group Chief Accounting Officer and Group General Manager of HSBC
    Russell Picot has over 30 years experience of banking. His responsibilities include financial and regulatory reporting and he is jointly responsible for global stress testing at HSBC. Russell has been co-chair of the Enhanced Disclosure Task Force (EDTF) since 2012 and is a member of the International Integrated Reporting Council. He holds an MA in Mathematics from Cambridge and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

    Maurício Chacur

    Deputy Managing Director, Risk Management, Brazilian Development Bank
    Maurício Chacur is a Civil Engineer. He graduated from UFRJ and took his Master’s Degree in Finance and Administration at COPPEAD-UFRJ. He has been working at BNDES for 28 years and currently is in charge of the Risk Management Division. Between January 1995 and February 2013, he worked for the State Government of Rio de Janeiro, where he held several executive positions, such as Chief Operating Officer and President of CODIN, President of AGERIO (formerly Investe Rio), Deputy Secretary for Science and Technology and Secretary for Economic Development. He has already participated in several Boards and currently he takes part of the Board of Directors of Brennand Cimentos Participações.
