In honor of International Roma Day on April 8, the World Bank - with support from the European Commission Representation in Romania, the European Parliament Information Office in Romania, and the French Institute - invites you to a viewing of the 1997 dramatic comedy The Crazy Stranger.

The movie follows the adventures of Stéphane, a young man from Paris, who is travelling in Romania. While looking for a lady singer that he often listened to with his father, he decides to live for a time in a Roma village.

The movie is in French, Romanian and Romani, with English subtitles. It contains some material that may not be appropriate for children under 13.

Admission is free but space is limited.
