Jobs and Internships

  • Employment Opportunities in the European Offices

This site provides information on short-term employment opportunities (including internships) of the World Bank Group in its Paris, Berlin, Brussels, Geneva, London, Marseille and Rome offices. For vacancies related to more longer-term positions in these and many other offices, please go to the World Bank Group's main employment website. You are encouraged to consult this site as well as the main employment website on a regular basis. Vacancies are typically posted for at least one week, though in most cases longer.

Please keep in mind that the relatively small size of the World Bank Group's Western European offices significantly limits the number of available positions at any given time, particularly at the senior professional level. Moreover, not all job families are represented in these offices, which for the most part are home to staff in the following professional fields:  communications/international affairs (www.worldbank.org/europe), microfinance (www.cgap.org), private sector investment (IFC Western Europe), with very few staff employed in back-office functions (accounting, administration, conference services, general services, information technology, mail and print services). The Marseille Office is home to the Center for Mediterranean Integration (www.cmimarseille.org).

Internship positions in these offices are filled as they become available and are typically advertised on this website. Please also refer to the General Internship Selection Criteria for additional information.
