This year, the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty on October 17, will be celebrated in Malaysia with a Photo Competition: #ItsPossible to #EndPoverty in #Malaysia, jointly organized by the World Bank Group and UNDP Malaysia, on how the country is working to end extreme poverty and promote a more inclusive and equitable economy for all.

Share your photo and tell us how your creativity, ingenuity, and perseverance can help end extreme poverty by 2030, and reduce inequality in Malaysia. Be creative! For example, share photos of children in schools, better infrastructure and electricity in rural areas, development in villages, skills training, entrepreneurship programs, community participation for development.

How you can join:

1. Share your photo on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and include hashtag #ItsPossible
2. E-mail your photo with caption to malaysia@worldbank.org

Stand a chance to win End Poverty t-shirts and other goodies if your photo is part of our Top 12 selections.

The photos will be displayed in a public exhibition. They will be selected based on their relevance to the theme, technical quality and visual impact.
