Thiruni Liyanage joined the World Bank in September,2018 as Water Resources Management Specialist, attached to the South and East Asia unit of Water Global Practice. She got nearly 9 years’ experience in the field of water resources management, water supply and sanitation.
Prior to join World Bank, she worked as a consultant for the Greater Colombo Wastewater Management project for 4 years.
Thiruni is a Civil Engineer by profession and obtained her Master of Philosophy degrees at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2013.
