Lars Grava


Lars Grava is a Senior Private Sector Specialist at the World Bank Group's Macroeconomics, Trade and Investment Global Practice.  He has 20+ years of experience in providing technical advice and managing projects in more than 50 developing countries. His expertise is in legal, regulatory, institutional and administrative reforms for government transformation and private sector growth. Lars' projects have led to cost savings for government and business, productivity and competitiveness gains, improved enforcement and compliance with regulations, and sustainability of reform initiatives.  He has written numerous papers on these topics.  Lars has advised and trained government officials at all levels to design and adopt new policies and procedures.  He has designed monitoring and evaluation systems for WBG and client governments to measure project and program success.  Lars is an attorney and certified project management professional.
