Filip Kochan is a Senior External Affairs Officer leading external affairs and communications of the World Bank for the Western Balkans, a position he took up in June 2023. He is also supporting the Bank’s institutional relationships with the government of Austria.
Prior to his current role, Filip Kochan was an External Affairs Officer at the World Bank overseeing Poland and the Baltic Countries. Before joining the World Bank in 2015, he worked at an investor relations advisory firm in Warsaw, and he was a financial correspondent for Reuters.
Filip Kochan holds an MSc in Sociology and an MSc in Political Science from the University of Warsaw, where he also studied economics.
