Dr. Edith Digwaleu-Kariko


Dr. Edith Digwaleu Kariko is the World Bank’s Senior Health Specialist for Papua New Guinea, and leads the World Bank’s growing health program supporting several health projects and analytical work.  

Dr. Kariko is a medical doctor by profession, and holds a Masters in Health Management, as well as a Masters in International Public Health from the University of New South Wales, Australia.

Dr. Kariko has extensive experience in health administration, management and service delivery in Papua New Guinea, particularly in remote and rural areas.
